But, there can be a dark side to this if a breakup occurs and the man doesn’t destroy the porn as promised when pictures sent in texts are shared online, or when the couple is taped without the woman knowing about it, the footage can be used maliciously.
There are a ton of revenge porn sites which lets men upload their intimate photos or videos without the express approval of their partner and with the objective of shaming and maligning them.
This is unethical and hurtful with lawmakers aware of its prevalence and trying to create laws against it, but it’s also important to know why it happens.
Candaulism, occurs when a man needs to brag to others that he had sex with a girl, it’s a need to show off, this can also happen when a guy tries to look cool.
It can be done out of revenge over a breakup or because the perpetrator just hates women in general and is done out of anger.
Sometimes the man is just an idiot and does not know the harm it causes or may even think in his sick mind that the woman wants it posted online.
There is no excuse for thus hurtful and vile practice and much more needs to be done to discourage it.
