While traveling can sometimes be stressful a new study has discovered that travel has some unintended benefits such as weight loss, increased happiness, more confidence and a better sex life!
The study found that traveling reduced the release of the hormone cortisol, which is responsible for feelings of stress. Dr. Linda Papadopoulos, who worked on the study, had much to say on the benefits of traveling in regards to many areas of people’s lives.
The change of routine and increased physical activity also helped people stay skinny and fit. Many travelers destinations include sunny locations. Sunny weather increases the release of serotonin, which helps people feel calm and relaxed. So, while getting on your journey may be difficult at times as you deal with delays the results may be worth it for you in the bedroom.
