The basis of all life is sex, but often times it becomes a taboo topic. Human life would be impossible without it, though many people are shy or reserved when they need to talk about it. Often times this comes from religious teaching or a certain upbringing, but sex is important, the question becomes how important.
In the context of an intimate relationship, sex plays a very important role. Without it, the feeling of intimacy would not be possible. These feelings and physical connection create a bond that keeps a relationship afloat. It is possible to be intimate without sex, but sex is what allows people to connect on a deep emotional level. Sex is very important, it is a basic human need.
