These include protection from urinary tract infections and preventing  penile cancer in adult males.<\/p>\n<p>Now a new <a href=\"\/\/www.health.am\/sex\/more\/male-circumcision-lowers-prevalence-of-penile-precancerous-lesions\/\">study<\/a> done by the University of North Carolina (USA) shows that circumcision in men is related to lower occurrence of human papillomavirus-associated precancerous lesions of the penis.Human papillomavirus or HPV is a sexually transmitted virus that plays a vital role in genital cancers.<\/p>\n<p>Jennifer  Smith, the senior author of this study is quoted as saying,\u00a0 \u201cOur data  are the first to show that male circumcision may reduce HPV-associated penile precancerous lesions. This represents an additional public health benefit of male circumcision.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>So here is a another reason to consider circumcision and though  it is still a choice driven more out of what one believes than the  medical benefits that it may provide, it is important to note that the  benefits may outweigh the risks.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/\/www.draroras.com\/circumcision\">Circumcision<\/a> is a relatively minor and a safe procedure, but you must take full  precautions by choosing a surgeon who is experienced and has a very good  track record of performing circumcision surgeries.
